Sandy Bay is located on Haad Yao beach which is famous for its pure white sand, turquoise sea, coral reefs and outstanding sunsets. The beach is one of the longest on the island at over 1km an we occupy the entire southern beach front which provides plenty of room for beach games as well as sunbathers. The coral reef runs for 80 metres offshore and coupled with the crystal clear sea, helps create perfect diving conditions.

We are a family run resort and since our opening in 1985 we have established our resort as one of the best on the island. Our reputation is not only due to our unique location but also our facilities and experience in understanding our customers

We offer a range bungalows to suite all budgets which include beach front luxury bungalows with air conditioning and hill side traditional Thai style fan bungalows which are high on stilts to provide a stunning view and a cooling sea breeze.

Our recently opened swimming pool is located directly on the beach next to our restaurant . We offer a comprehensive menu of both Thai and European Cuisine. We have a beach BBQ every night where we serve locally caught fresh fish.
